These masks are built on buckram instead of the felt base used for feather masks. Buckram provides a rigid convex frame to stretch the spandex or lycra material over. We keep a large inventory of stretch fabrics via visits to the fabric districts of Tampa, Miami and New York. We can also create masks from customers' own materials.
From the classic simple Domino to the intricate Forestal, fabric masks are generally more compact and contoured than their feather counterparts. Often embellished with jewels, sprays, appliques and feathers, they are especially suited to evening wear.
The Troubador - a feather-and-fabric combo mask is one of Maskerville's most popular masks.
